I’m new to wordpress and just trying to get started with a basic template. After installing Meta Slider, following all steps and creating the first slide and setting the theme setting – no image now appears in the slider at all. Even the Demo slide will no longer display. Must have done something but don’t know what?

I got it. The problem was setting front page to static page rather than recent posts. Will explore this further.
