We are considering moving away from Visual Composer. I have tried SiteOrigin Page Builder on a test site and I am pleased with early results.

What gives me pause is hearing that migrating a site that uses SiteOrigin Page Builder presents problems. We use Backupbuddy to migrate sites from our development server to the client server.

Will Backupbuddy successfully migrate a website that uses SiteOrigin Page Builder?

    Hi Douglas

    We unfortunately haven’t yet done testing with BackupBuddy. Traditionally you haven’t been able to migrate Page Builder content via Database Import/Export, only with Duplicator plugin or XML Export/Import. However I had a client recently on the forum that said everything moved fine for him in testing via regular DB transition and also via UpDraft Plus.

    Perhaps test a site move out with BackupBuddy and let us know how it goes.
