Awesome Widgets for SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin causes trouble

As the previous thread about this topic is closed and the problem still exists, I am opening a new thread.

I get the error message:
Please Activate WooCommerce Plugin First, to use it.
I don’t even have the WooCommerce plugin installed.

I ran into the same problem today and found out the reason for it.

It was the “Awesome Widgets for SiteOrigin Page Builder”
On the plugin page in the WP backend the description for the above plugin says this:

“Awesome Widgets for SiteOrigin Page Builder is a great plugin and it help you add Woocommerce Products Featured Collection, New Arrival, Sale Off, Best Seller and Category on any page of your site.”

There seems to be something in the code of the plugin that is corrupt. Once I disabled the plugin, the error message went away and my site worked again.

I just thought you might find the helpful to prevent others running into this problem and can fix it.
