I have built the plugin Widgets for SiteOrigin.
I have noticed during previous updates that changes to existing less files associated with the widgets did not automatically get compiled. Rather they threw back errors in the front-end. The widget would then have to be saved and page/post updated before everything fell back in place.
Any help is appreciated.

I think I’ve heard of this plugin before ;) Hope you’re doing well.
Yeah, this is a bug I’d say. The Widgets Bundle checks if its own version number updates, but doesn’t check when the plugins that extend it update. I’ll chat to Braam about this and see if we can come up with a solution.

I have copied the version check function from the widgets bundle plugin. Can you please let me know if this will serve as a temporary fix till something more permanent comes along.
