Any chance to get more common buttons for the Text widget?

I’ve been using the Page Builder for a few websites and I absolutely love it! There’s just one problem I have encountered while using it. When using the Text widget there’s only a few buttons from the TinyMCE available in the graphical editing view. Currently there’s only bold, cursive, unordered list, numbered list and link. Why there’s only so few buttons available? It would be really nice if we could get some more commonly used buttons in the graphical view like underline and adding an image. This is because our clients mostly use the graphical view.

    Hi Jussi,

It looks like you’re using the Text widget. The text widget is a basic widget included by WordPress and it purposefully was designed with a minimal (read: limited) interface in mind. I would instead recommend using the SiteOrigin Editor widget instead which includes a full TinyMCE editor. The SiteOrigin Editor widget is included in the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.

As far as I’m aware, there’s no easy way to increase the functionality of the text widget at this time (it only just recently got those additional buttons added).

    Thank you, Alex!

The SiteOrigin Editor was just what I needed. Was just too keen on using the text widget that didn’t even realize to try any other.
