anchor link in menù responsive

Hello. Sorry for english.
I have added an anchor link in main menù. It work’s fine in desktop browser, but in mobile, whene menù collapse, link won’t works.

The anchor link is in this way:

menù link is this: http://mysite.com/#Contact

    Thanks for your question. We have encountered this issue before. This is not possible within the Vantage mobile menu. As I remember it, the issue is the anchor link is unable to close the mobile menu overlay. If you have a moment perhaps suggest this as a future feature here: https://siteorigin.com/suggest-feature/

    Did this ever get looked at? I have the same problem trying to get anchor links working with the mobile menu. The menu overlay remains after clicking.

      Hi Mark

      Thanks for running Vantage. This has unfortunately been marked as a limitation of the current mobile menu. Sorry I don’t have more here. You might consider de-activating the built in mobile menu and using a third-part solution like Jetpack Mobile theme.

    That’s disappointing, I don’t have time to troubleshoot the javascript so here is a workaround for those looking.

    In WordPress name the links like this:

    Instead of: /#contact
    /#services

    Use: ?location=1#contact
    ?location=2#services

    It forces the site to reload and act like a normal link plus finds the anchors. Not ideal but at least the mobile menu works.
