Hi,
I’ve been trying to access custom CSS setting for our site (using the Vantage theme), but it does not auto-populate in my customizer. I tried installing the plugin, but my account does not have access to adding plugins. Then, I contacted my supervisor, and they said my account has the highest level of access and should be able to add plugins and access additional CSS, but neither me nor our other team members (all site admin) can. Our IT department said that maybe it’s because we are working on Mac/Safari and suggested we try a different browser, but Chrome did not work either. The IT manager can access Additional CSS, but none of our team can see the setting anywhere.
If anyone has any tips on how to fix this or suggestions on things I haven’t tried, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for posting your question.
The WP Core Custom CSS field is located at AppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS. The SiteOrigin CSS field is located at AppearanceCustom CSS. I’m not sure why the core field isn’t available, you can perhaps try temporarily deactivating all plugins to rule out a plugin conflict.
Hi Andrew,
I’ve tried disabling all plugins, and unfortunately I don’t think that’s the issue. We’re all stumped. Here’s a link to what my menu systems look like, though you can probably guess.
Thanks for the update. I’m unsure why the core Additional CSS field isn’t showing. As a test, you can try temporarily deactivating all SiteOrigin plugins and temporarily switching to a default theme like Twenty Sixteen.
