Adding Vantage Headline Widgets

11 years ago · Last reply by Espen Gjelsvik 11 years ago

I am new a doing the website via YouTube, On the custom home page I deleted all rows…then added 1 new row
to make a column. I then add the widget Vantage Headline. This does not appear on it own page but as an overlay on the Custom Home Page. Even if I enter the headline on the Headline in the overlay, then the new row appears under the Header but theheadline text doe not show?

    Hi Johan

Thanks for running Vantage. If you’re working under Appearance > Home Page, please check that the toggle switch at the top is set to ON.

Thanks for your reply Andrew… unfortunately it makes no difference with the toggle switch being ON or OFF the Adding Vantage Headline page still overlays on the Home page…according to what I see on the video the AVH page should be a on its own page…right. Not sure how I can send a copy of the screenshot to you (i copied & pasted on a word doc) I get the AVH column below the Header but no script.

I think I’m almost following but not quite there yet. Please can you upload a screenshot to your Media Library, then view that image in the library and copy the url in the right column metabox. Paste that url here.

    Thanks.

Johan, I think what Andrew means is that you can use your wordpress site as storage for the screenshot.

You could also use Ms Paint (if you are on windows) to paste your screenshot, and save as image.

I also think you left out the .com part of your url
