Adding Logo to header! _HELP!

okay so its simple i’m trying to add a logo to the website i go to

theme options>general setting> click on header logo i choose an image then i click “add to post” then i click save,
but then it seems as if the image doesn’t save! when i go back to the general setting section nothing seemed to upload and the website isnt showing any logos im using the simple theme – http://joypublications.com/

any reason why this is happening?

also on a side note i added the shortcuts plug in
and it still says i need the shortcuts plug in for the theme to work properly >?
