Is there a plugin among the Siteorigin’s collection which allows you to set start and stop points on a MPG file similar to what Youtube has? If not, is there a plugin that has this capability?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a widget that allows for this. I would recommend using the WordPress embed functionality to add the mp3 to the page which can be added through a SiteOrigin Editor widget.
Like to confirm that you are following me. Adding a self-hosted MP3 file using the WP embed funtions, then using a SiteOrigin widget as the container will allow me to set start and stop points similar to what you can do on Youtube?

Actually, I stand corrected. It’s not possible to do this with the audio shortcode. You’ll need to use a plugin to do this – we don’t have a specific recommendation for one. Sorry mate. :(
