Layout different on other screen sizes/resolutions. Way to lock it?

Hi everyone, I ‘ve designed a layout on a laptop and now the website looks messed up on all other screen resolutions/sizes. Mainly larger resolutions. Is there a way to lock the layout to display just 1 resolution on all monitors? Thanks,
