Code is showing on front end home page??

I’m having trouble with widgets showing the code from the back end, on the front end. Once published, the page is beautiful and all the coding/formatting works and doesn’t show up on the front end…but we’ve got them showing as little preview boxes on the home page of our website and all it shows is…
