Can’t edit Hero Image Widget

Hello, I am having trouble editing the Hero Image widget. I can create the content just fine, but when I go back to make some changes, the little circle icon spins endlessly and I cannot access the menus. I am using OSX w/ Sierra and have tried in both Firefox and Safari. Any suggestions?
