Hero is creating multiple buttons

Hi everyone, First, I scoured this forum, and others looking for the answer before I posted. But alas I didn’t find it… so here I am :) When I insert a button (using the [buttons] shortcode) into a HERO widget, it creates the intended button and then another, but without the text. Running: WordPress 4.9.1…
