Linking latest Post in Circle Icons?

Hi, Good day to you. I’m a rather new website builder trying out wordpress and is currently using the Vantage theme. I have circle icons on the home page and I would like one of the circle icons to reflect my latest post or newest post. As this is meant to be for a hobby…
