Responsive homepage – Vantage

Hi Sorry for my bad english. I’m from Denmark. I’m new in wordpress and about to make my own webside i Vantage theme. For some reason it looks crappy on a mobile device. In the settings the responsive homepage is on. Can anyone help? Thanks
