Custom homepage not saving

Hi everyone. I’m new to this site and new to WordPress. I am having an issue when trying to click the On button when creating a Custom homepage When I get to the step Appearance > Home Page and select On > Save, it reverts back to Off and doesn’t update the page. Any ideas?…
