White space at the top of my post

Any of the posts i upload seem to have a large white space at the top of the page. Is there any way i can remove this. Example http://www.derrycraftvillage.com/the-craft-village-christmas-events-programme/ I would also like to remove the archive info from the side of the post if that is possible. Just temporarily until i build up more…
