White page when viewing some of the Appearance menu links in the WP dashboard

Hi When I try to edit my site, I get a white page. Specifically when clicking on the following in the Appearance menu in the WP dashboard: 1. Vantage Premium Sidebar: Categories to show only top level category

Is it possible in the template used for the Vantage sidebar to show only the top level category. I have main categories and a number of sub-categories but would like to show only the top-level in the side-bar.
