Masthead image is resizing

I have a wide masthead image, 1080 x 200. When I view it on the computer screen, the image has been resized in the img tag to be sized at ‘width=”1010″ height=”187″‘, which leaves ugly space on each side of my image. I’ve looked throughout the css, but can’t find where this is. I’ve removed…
