Vantage Premium: Can’t remove Background Image or Page Background image

When I use the customizer to add a background image or a page background image (perhaps also masthead background image – haven’t tried), there seems to be no way to remove it after saving. Screenshot here: http://vantageaccessibilty.sites.ucsc.edu/vantage-backgrounds-cant-remove/
