Set maximum size for featured image in a post

Hiya! When seen full-screen on a monitor, featured images are gargantuan. Is there a way to limit the size? I saw another person’s question that was about wanting some other post-bit(s) size limited, so I’m assuming it’s possible. Moocho grass…
