Stretch Background Image

Hello and thank you for the Vantage Theme: I’m using a wonderful gradient background image http://wordpress.sagcounty.com/ for the page body content. I’d like to stretch it because it gets dark in the middle of the page. Is there any way to do this? If not, can I change the background color for just that page?…
