logo problems

I’m trying to upload my logo. When I upload in png format the thumbnail doesn’t show in my media library, and I can’t edit the photo (crop,scale) in any way. And when I refresh my homepage the logo is really freaking huge. Same thing happens when I upload the logo in jpg format…HELP! Also, I…
