Home Icon not working

Hello, I’m having trouble getting the home icon working on the tab. I’ve gone to the appearance and navigation settings and made sure the selection is checked, but it won’t take. Temporary, I’ve used a keyboard/html text or Unicode text to get the look of a home button but I need the actual home icon.…
