Button w/link will not align to center

Using Bento theme bundled with SiteOrigin. Trying to edit button on homepage and it will not align to center. I have edited visually and through HTML and the code appears correct, but the change does not happen. Button will align left or right but not center. Not sure if this is a SiteOrigin problem, but…
