The default Focus home page, as seen in the demo, is setup as follows:
1. Your home page must be set to display latest posts. This is done from SettingsReadingFront page displays: Your latest posts..
2. In order for the slider and thumbnail grid to display an image, each post must have a Featured Image added to it. The Set featured image link can be found in the Featured Image meta box in the right column when editing a post. Read more about Featured Images.
