You use the ’embed code’ supplied on the YouTube page with the video you want.

Then, in WordPress, make sure you are in Text mode, not Visual or PageBuilder. Paste the code and Publish. The embedded code should look something like:

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HmeyEM0ctJM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

endrest, that certainly works for adding video to a page in text mode. I have a looong page done solely in PageBuilder, with lots of different sized columns. How do I add a video and centre it?

I added the slider widget, and am stuck there. Surely there’s a simpler way?

Just adding a link to a YouTube video in a Visual Editor used to work. I just tried it out and it doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Something that is working though is the embed shortcode. So just insert a visual editor and insert something like this:

    [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgvlZlcio4Q[/embed]
