    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wok Staarr

There should be nothing stopping you in wordpress from using any of our themes. In WordPress dashboard navigate to Appearance->Themes and click the Add New button at the top.

In the search box type ‘Vantage’. The Free version of Vantage should be the first result in the list. Click on the install option that appears when you select it and once installed click on the activate option.

    Hope this helps

hi there Magus . . As im still using the free version of wordpress i can only use the themes that it loads with . There is no add button at all in the theme section . i started using wordpress because there were so many themes available . But it seems that i need to upgrade and then get a webhost to load my site with wordpress and added themese that dont normally load with it which is quite annoying . it will take me months to make my own site how i want it b4 i post it live .
Maybe wordpress should make users aware that with the free version you cant just load any theme you find.

    Hi Wok Staarr

I think that may be where the confusion arises. WordPress is a completely free CMS platform available from wordpress.org. You are hosting on WordPress.com which is a service supplied by WordPress.

The best option for you to try out themes not supplied by this free service would be to setup a local webserver on your own computer and install wordpress there.

I would recommend using this system to get wordpress running locally

the free version will allow you to do all you need.

    Thanks
