I’ve just ran a wordpress update, upgrading us to 4.4.1. I also ran a load of plugin updates.

Now our site looks completely horrendous and unusable!

Please help!

    Hi Darren

    Sorry to hear about that.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Greg,

I think we’ve solved the problem.

It’s the Site Builder / Page Builder / Layout Builder plugin of yours that’s the issue. I deactivated ALL our plugins and started toggling the builder. It’s definitely what’s causing the issue.

I have no idea what went wrong, but the solution for us has been to build pages over again from scratch and that seems to work. I think the padding and page settings might have been an issue before. You may have updated it your end and fixed the initial issues that we had to work around to start with and now we have to revert back to what we tried to do originally (if that makes any kind of sense?). Just a guess.

Anyway, I think this is resolved for now.

    Thanks for your input.

    Darren.
