10 years ago · Last reply by Magus 10 years ago

Hello,

at first i am from Germany, so sorry about my english …

Yesterday I installed the new Version of WordPress 4.2.2. The installation was perfect.
Then I installed the Plugin SiteOrigin Page Builder Version 2.1.2 from your Website.
BUT then came the message from WordPress:
Mistake: The Plugin Site Origin panels / site Origin panels.php was disabled as a result of an error: The plugin file does not exist.
I’m not a professional programmer so what is the reason for this problem?
PLEASE HELP !!!
What is the reason of this problem?

Best regards from Germany
Klaus

    Hi Klaus

This sounds like it may be a corrupted download or extraction to the server. Please delete PageBuilder from your plugins list and try to add it again. If this does not work then it may be a folder permissions issue with your WordPress Installation.

By default, folder permissions should be 755 and Files 644.

Let us know how you get on

    Magus
