Widget Bundle – checkbox Custom Field

Thanks for your wonderful plugin. It’s a life changing in terms of site layout building.

I am looking for some examples of how to create custom fields for the widgets forms.
More specifically, I would like to know how I can add a “multiple checkbox” field or a “multiple select” field to a widget form?

There is still no documentation available about that on the site
(https://siteorigin.com/docs/widgets-bundle/form-building/adding-custom-fields/).

    Very awesome to hear you’re building on top of the Widgets Bundle base. We’ve been making huge improvements to its developer friendliness over the last few weeks.

    All that documentation just went live earlier today, so it still needs a little bit of work. I’ll do something about that page you linked. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get that fleshed out this weekend. Although having a multi-select field is something that the base should have, so I’ll add that in too.

    Out of interest, what kind of widget are you planning on creating?

    Thanks for your reply. I wasn’t aware that the documentation was that recent :-)
    I know that this kind of stuff can take time so I’ll wait for the update on that.

    The widget I am working on has nothing really special. It’s a very specific widget for the project I am working on. I wanted to provide a simple “settings form widget” that would help users to customize the display of some block content in the front end and the “multiple checkboxes” was part of my layout. I thought that it would be possible to have that custom field since it’s pretty standard html inputs.

    Let me know when the documentation would be available.

    I can see that the documentation for adding Custom Fields has been updated. Thanks for that.

    In the 1st paragraph of this page (https://siteorigin.com/docs/widgets-bundle/form-building/adding-custom-fields/) the link to see the example is broken.
    Can you please check that?
