Hello – and help! Apparently, Vantage theme has automatic pagination (a link to older/newer posts at bottom of blog page), but this does not appear to be working in the large screen format on my blog page (which is my home page)
What my blog page is presently doing in large screen format is that it just comes to an end without any link to (or any apparent means to access) older posts at the bottom of the page upon reaching the set number of posts per page (presently 10 posts).
It IS working in small screen or mobile format. At the bottom of each blog page, there are tabs for older and/or newer posts
What is going on? And how do I fix it??
I upgraded to Premium to see if that would make a difference – 1JV80812UC817691B
Hi Alex Stark
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. The Current mobile view you are getting is being provided by the Jetpack Mobile Module. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Thanks

Hi Magus
Just to clarify
(1) My pagination works perfectly on mobile – it does not work at all on the large screen (so I assume Jetpack Mobile is unaffected and the Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin is ok?)
(2) I do not have many plugins. Page Builder and Site Origin Widget Bundle are of course Site Origin plug-ins. Meta-Slider is not designated as a Site Origin plug-in, but it is effectively designed for use in the Vantage theme so I assume that it is not a problem? I also have Mojo Marketplace, which was installed through my host Bluehost – so surely it is ok? Otherwise, the only other active plug-ins are the Simple Links and Ultimate Social Media plugins. (So pretty much the only plug-ins I have are those that effectively come with setup and the ones you can infer from the appearance of the blog)
Thanks
Booyah! Problem solved and I feel a little silly…but at least I found it myself albeit through following up your advice by taking a closer look at my plugins. I had a closer look at the Jetpack settings and infinite scroll was activated – doh! I have de-activated it and I can see the automatic pagination on my laptop blog!
Thank you
Hi Alex
