What happens to my design if I upgrade to Pemium?

Hi
I would like to have the responsive menu .-) did not know if it was in the free version. But I have finished my design and website for my custormer – so how do I upgrade without distroying anything??
Is it safe to press the upgrade button next to navigation?? sorry but am a nervous neewbie :-)
