Hi,

I was updating plugins for a client’s website and now the site seems to be stuck in maintenance mode, telling me to check back in a minute. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

    Hi Dorie

This is a fairly common issue, luckily there is a very easy fix. If you delete the file called “.maintenance” in the root of your site’s folder, WordPress will come out of maintenance mode. You can delete this file using FTP.
