Visual Editor widget not working correctly, help!

I’ve been using the visual editor widget in the page builder plugin. I just recently installed wishlist member, a membership plugin for my site and the visual editor isn’t working correctly now. I can edit in it, but I can’t get out of the window. When I click “done” or the “x” to exit, nothing happens and I therefore can’t save anything. When I deactivate the wishlist member plugin everything works fine. I know this might be an issue with their plugin, and have submitted a ticket to them, but I just wanted to reach out here as well just in case is was something to do with the visual editor widget in page builder. Thanks!

Sam

    Hi Sam,

I am having a similar issue. WishList Member is not working right either. It actually works but when sending the “activate your membership” email it fails to include the username. It does however produce the password. I have been working with WLM for over a week now trying to resolve this issue. They cannot find the problem. They think it is the theme. I have deactivated all plugins except WOO Commerce and WLM and the Vantage Premium Theme. They want me to try another theme to see if it is in fact Vantage Premium. I am scared to do this because I don’t want to lose a years worth of work. Have you tried to set WordPress to the default theme and then tried WLM? Do you know if I try this if I will lose everything? I have auto backup on my website so I can restore it, but I would rather not have to do this unless I have no other options. I too want WLM to work. It’s holding my business back. Marta

PS. In terms of your issue, I had a similar thing when I was editing the website in Explorer. I do not have this issue of white boxes in Firefox. That may be helpful to try.

      Hi mbanuelos

Sorry to hear about the problem. Switching themes won’t cause any content or data loss. It’s a step that’s routine to troubleshooting. Give it a try.
