By Grega Jovan, 10 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 10 years ago.

hi
i would like to make another page like the first one. this page would be a child page to the videos page and i would like to keep the template as it is and just change the latest videos text on top. What is the easiest way that i could do that? i do have the premium version.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Grega

If you head to Posts > Categories and create a category or many in which to place posts, each category will create an archive page much like the home page, just with no slider.

So you can have a page like this: http://vppprojects.com/videos/?page_id=20 with video’s displayed like on the home page, and a title above the videos with the category name, you just can’t currently have a slider there.

Can you please tell me how to create a page with posts like i wanted to step by step? I dont want all of the videos to show up on the front page.

    Hi Grega

As it stands it’s not possible to filter which posts appear on your home page and which don’t. That said it is possible to filter the home page slider by category in the premium version.

Another solution you can consider is to install our Page Builder plugin and insert a Post Loop (PB) widget into a page using Page Builder. The Post Loop widget allows category filtering using the Additional field of that widget. Enter cat=x where X is the ID of the category you’d like to filter.

My answer was my based on my best understanding of your question. If it’s not what you wanted you’ll need to explain your question further.
