Vantage Theme – can’t access WP features after multiple plug-in updates

Hi, great theme here guys. You’ve been very helpful in your support. I will go Premium now that my client has approved a preliminary design done with Vantage. I have a couple more sites to do over the next couple months and would like to stay in the Vantage/Page Builder framework as I’m not a developer. I’ve gotten comfortable with Site Origin and borrowed a lot from your custom CSS forums.

Hoping you can help resolve a problem that may or may not be plug-in update related.

I ran updates for Page Builder, Black Studio TinyMCE, Jetpack and Meta Slider within the last two days. Unfortunately, I haven’t done any site work the week prior to know if there was an issue before the updates.

I can login to WordPress and see my pages and my plug-ins but I’m unable to “add a new page, access my Menus, Settings, Media library, or view details of each plug-in and more.” I can get into Page Builder, but image uploads fail. I saw the permissions thread you posted on this elsewhere which I can address, but too many other problems are occuring.

In short, most of my wordpress functions are not loading. My browser shows it’s processing like a slow load problem then simply times out and remains on one of the few dashboard pages that I get to load.

I was thinking I might have a server issue thru Gearhost? The only thing I’ve done otherwise are the updates.

Thanks again!

Matt

To update, I went in and deactivated Jetpack, Black Studio, Meta Slider and WordPress importer. I can access everything again. The image upload worked in Page Builder and I was able to save and update the site. As you’ve stated in multiple forums, maybe some of the plug-ins along with updates, don’t play well together. I will move forward and only activate plug-ins as necessary to keep Site Origin functions working.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jordan,

You right, as you have noted such issue arises from plugin issues conflicts. The first step to diagnosing these sorts of issues is generally to disable all non SiteOrigin plugins one by one to isolate which plugin may be bringing conflict.

Am glad your site is running as expected. If you encounter any other issue that you may need support for always feel free to open a thread

    Thank you
