Vantage premium & Page Builder upgrade seems to have lost Page Builder!

By PRFBSol, 9 years ago. Last reply by PRFBSol, 9 years ago.

Hi,

I’ve just upgraded plug-ins and the Vantage Theme, but it seems to have immediately lost the Page Builder from the pages I had built using it.

I’ve put the site into Maintenance mode whilst I investigate further but any information you can offer would be very welcome.

I had a number of multiple column rows within my pages, which in turn in some cases carried meta-slide slides and text and separately – some circle icon widgets, but these widgets and images all now appear to have disappeared, visibly leaving behind the ‘behind-the-scenes’ structural elements of the slider for example, whilst also knocking out the row/column structure too – so affecting the pages in that way as well

I’ve also lost circle icon widgets.

Any ideas as to what has happened and more particularly, how to remedy to get my site back to what it was?

Thanks

Kind Regards

Paul

Hi just further to the above, it looks like the page builder was knocked out altogether in the Vantage Premium upgrade, as a request to install page builder is now being presented in the theme page.

However, when saying yes to that the Plug install, the install has failed – twice.

Insight would be much appreciated as I don’t want to have to rebuild the whole site again and cant anyway at the moment cant as the page builder appears not to be activating as just outlined above..

    Regards

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Paul,

Very sorry about the delays here. Unfortunately without your order number, this thread wasn’t properly prioritized.

How is the Page Builder install failing? Are you getting any error messages?

If you create a temporary admin account for me, I’ll log in and try figure out what’s happening. You can create those details for [email protected].

    Hi Greg,
Thanks for your mail on this.
Andrew has also replied, with several emails having gone back and forth since – including the admin details you've mentioned below which Andrew also requested yesterday (I'm 10 hours ahead of you at present, being in Queensland Australia).
The email that I sent back to Andrew with all of tle admin details went to the normal support@siteorigin account I believe, without use of an intermediary Site Origin specific email address as you have supplied here. So there is some exposure there, which I have my fingers crossed wont come back to bite us
Is it best then that this is something I leave with yourself and Andrew to discuss directly, with what has already been sent to date, rather than re-sending additional / replicated mails at this stage which might muddy the waters?
By all means come back to me as applicable on that.
(And in future I will put the Premium order number in any support request threads I raise as you've mentioned below)
