Hi,
I have downloaded a theme from http://www.flyerzone.co.uk/freewptheme/
But I am unable to set-up the same main menu theme – the website which I am testing this on is: www.youngtechguy.co.uk
I am unable to see the check box for activating the theme locations menu on WordPress. I can see the words “theme locations but there is no checkbox next the words.
I have followed the instructions on the following website but with no avail (https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/setting-up-your-menu/)
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi YoungTechGuy

Looks like you might be trying another theme now. If you do switch back to Vantage try doing this. Appearance > Menus, create a custom menu and save it. Then right at the bottom of the menu is heading called Menu Settings. There is a single checkbox there opposite the Theme Locations heading, check that and re-save your menu. Should do the trick.

    Hi Andrew,

When I try a different theme, I can see the option for the check-box appear next to Theme Locations. But I can’t seem to be able to get it to work for the following free theme: http://www.flyerzone.co.uk/freewptheme/

Can you download the theme and let me know if you can get it to work for you?

    Thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

There does seem to be a problem with this theme in terms of setting a menu location. I checked now.

(Just a quick heads up, this isn’t one of our themes so it’s probably best to ask the theme developers, they’ll be best positioned to lend a hand).

    Hi, I Work Here

100%. Perhaps browse the free theme directory for your next theme. There is a lot of vetting that happens before a theme can make it on there.

    Our themes are up here:

Perhaps try Vantage: Theme: Free, multi-purpose, responsive WordPress theme from SiteOrigin
