Hello.
I´ve tried to translate Page Builder to Portuguese without success.
The Widgets Bundle doesn´t have a language folder with the corresponding .po and .mo files. How can i achieve this?
Page Builder has the needed files, but there are 2 which seem similar: siteorigin-panels.po and so-panels.po. Which one should i use? There is already a German translation and i even tried to use this file as a base for the Portuguese one, without any success.
My WordPress is correctly setup and the corresponding language is selected in the wp-config file.
Any ideas? Thanks you.
Hi … I did before have the issue to fix
I think this maybe can help you, use this plugin to edit your .po and .mo files :
http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization
I have done translation to some of the SiteOrigin Widgets and made changes in Paypal gateway text
without any problem … hope this can help you, give it a try.
Hello Fleming and thank you for your response.
I need a simpler and more straight forward way of doing this. I do not wish to use another plugin to achieve something i can easily do some other way.
In the meantime, i was able to translate some of the Page Builder parts i wanted to translate.
What about the Widgets Bundle plugin? Isn´t it prepared for translation?
Thanks!
Hi Mentol
I see that I didn’t finish off the translation compatibility in the widgets bundle. Very sorry about that. I’ve used all the WordPress translation functions, but I still need to add in the po files and the code to load the text domain. I’ll make sure to get both of these in, in the next update.
Hello Greg.
Thank you for your answer – that was what i thought was happening. I´ll wait for the next version to complete the translation.
Thank you for your time and for developing such a nice tool.
