I would bring my site to imxprs to wordpress, I would like some advice to start off well and avoid trying so many themes and plugins.

I’m trying to go with the theme NORTH, with the widgets I think I can recreate well across the central part of the site, the only two problems I encountered at the moment are these:
1 – I do not know how to change the color of the menu
2 – I do not find one gallery widget to create a simple grid of images
any advice to show me the right way is welcome
