Theme Clearly, Slider on Static page does not work

Dear SiteOrigin Team,

I just started using WordPress and I downloaded your theme Clearly. I like the theme very much but what I am not able to achieve is to get the slider working when I choose ‘static page’ . I only get the slider working when I choose ‘my latest posts’ . as homepage.

I am not planning to write any posts so my question is if there is a way to get the slider when using a static page ?

    Hi Wim

    This is unfortunately the setup of the Clearly Slider. You might consider using something like Meta Slider in conjunction with Appearance > Home Page to insert your own slider. This won’t be 100% width though as with the built in slider.

    If you’re not too far into the build our Vantage theme might be worth checking out: https://siteorigin.com/theme/vantage/. The integration with Meta Slider will make it easier to handle this aspect of your build.
