Text Component Problem

Latest version of WordPress and using Children Kindergarten Theme from Themeforest so PageBuilder is built into that theme. The problem is that when I use the Text component inside a Page Builder Layout, I can only edit in Visual Mode inside the Text component. I can no longer switch to text/html mode to finesse a layout with HTML code. I could previously do this without problem. Nothing has been added to this fairly new site, no new plugins, in fact not even any new pages or content has been added. WordPress has been updated a couple times and I updated all the plugins to see if that might be a problem. I also disabled all plugins except Page Builder and the problem still persists. I have a couple of pages that make use of HTML code that I need to access (Facebook feed) but cannot.
