Testimonial page uneditable

In preview, stock images and dummy text are there. However, in “live editor” or if I click Edit for the testimonial widget, no content appears — at all. just a blank white screen.

    I also inserted the Testimonial widget on the home page, hoping for a different response. It wiped out all content there as well. Remove the widget, and everything reappears
