To add to this point, when using the Visual editor the formatting is failing on the custom pages, if i use the standard editor with page builder being active on the same custom page the formatting work fine.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi vty

Can you perhaps confirm a link where formatting is not present. http://www.vacancylister.com/job/managing-director-2/ seems to be formatted correctly.

Some themes have very specific widget styles, as a result, widgets placed in a content area by Page Builder don’t have any formatting to use.

Can you perhaps run this aspect of the site without Page Builder and just with the jobs plugin?

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the reply, I have tried that and the formatting goes well without placing the Page builder with the visual editor.
I also contacted the developer of the Jobs plugin & he said that the plugin uses the standard WP content() to display the details.

    in short:
My theme (Mesocolumn) + Jobs plugin = working with formatting
My theme + Page builder/visual editor + Jobs plugin = NOT working with formatting
My theme + Page builder/visual editor = Working with formatting

After checking all these combinations, i could conclude that neither the theme nor the jobs plugin has issues, its the visual editor which fails to work on custom type of pages (i.e. job listing etc.).

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for all this work, I’m sure it’ll benefit others down the line.

I don’t think there will be an immediate fix but it’s worth just running this past Marco, the author of Black Studio. I’m unfortunately not clued up enough on Black Studio to know what the challenge is there.

    Hi, I Work Here

Ok cool, I see your post there on the BS page. Perhaps Marco will have some feedback for us.

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for linking this with the BS page. I was skeptical about my findings so i thought to put it up on both the pages.
Since you guys will be in a better position to debug the code & identify the root cause. I hope this gets a resolution coz i was planning to use page builder & Visual editor in some more sites as well. :)
