Hi there,

At the end of the day I just want to remove all database tables related to Page Builder when I delete the plugin but it doesn’t give me that option when I click delete on the plugin in Admin. How can I completely start over with this plugin without access to phpMyadmin?

So the above is my real question. Here is why I ask in case you are interested…

The problem: The plugin will activate and I can view the plugin settings in Admin however when opening a new Page the UI does not load, the Screen Options menu won’t drop down nor does the toggle Page Builder options area show anything. In addition other plugins options areas for the Page are blank too. When I deactivate Page Builder everything works normal. When I disable all plugins except for Page Builder the same problem continues.

My idea of the cause:
I was running a quite old version of WP (3.5.2 to be exact)

I uploaded the Page Builder plugin (2.0.7) to this old install of WP. This was my mistake completely.

When the plugin didn’t work I looked at the compatibility and saw it required a minimum of WP 3.7

So I decided to go ahead and start updating my WP install. I am now running WP 3.8.5 and I am using the current 2.1 version of the Page Builder plugin which requires a minimum of WP 3.8. Yet the problem continues.

So this is why I would like to completely remove the plugin and try a fresh start now on a more modern install.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Matt

Kindly ensure you use the latest versions of the theme and plugins you are using. Also ensure you are running at least version 4.x.x of wordpress. Let me know if that solves your issue.

If you wish to rest your database, you can use the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/

    Cheers
