Social Media Buttons not showing on blog /post page sidebar

Hi,
I am currently building a WP site to myself and I have added Social Media Buttons to all of the places I wanted. For some reason these buttons are not showing up on the sidebar of the blog page. Everything else works fine.
Could you please help?

    Hi Jussi

    To get the social icons to appear here you will need to add the social media Widget to the main SideBar at Appearance->Widgets. Click on the Social Media Widget and select Sidebar From the Dropdown. You will then need to add the buttons you want by editing the widget.
