Hello Greg, I just bought Focus Premium, and I’m very happy about the way it works, I have a few questions though:
1- I created a couple of posts to learn how the theme works, and I was hoping that the 2 posts would show on the ‘Home’ page slider. I went to Appearance/Theme Settings/Slider and then I chose ALL under Post Category, and the 2 posts don’t show in the slider. Please check the link: www.salomevanzyl.com, the slider area is empty, but the 2 posts show below the slider area. How can I get my latests post to show in the slider?
2- Can I write a different credit or Is there a way to add widgets into the bottom bar? at the bottom of the page, where there used to be “Theme by SiteOrigin”?
3- How can I change the font size and alignment of the Posts entries’ Titles?
4- How can I remove from the sidebar the text I copied right below the next link? I would want to see only the ‘Twitter Feed’ on the post’s sidebar. You can see an example here: http://www.salomevanzyl.com/buddhism-and-kung-fu-in-malawi-orphanage/

5- If I check the website on my smartphone (nexus 5) I can only see ‘Salome van Zyl Journalist and Producer, and then ‘Navigate’, but under ‘Navigate’, I can’t access the menus, in my case ‘HOME PRODUCING REPORTING WRITING’. How can I fix that?
6- How can I change the size, font type, bold or no bold… from the website’s title? in this case ‘Salome van Zyl Journalist and Producer’.
Thank you very much in advance,
Jordi
Hi Jordi
1 – Based on our quick email exchange, I think this issue was sorted out by updating to the latest version of Focus.
2 – You can remove this credit link by navigating to Appearance > Theme Settings. Under the General tab, disable “Display Credit Link”. Then you can add custom content to the footer area by navigating to Appearance > Widgets and adding widgets to the footer widget area. You can also add custom footer copyright text by heading to Appearance > Theme Settings under the Text tab, change the Footer Copyright value.
3 – Do you mean the titles on the single post pages? This would need some custom CSS. The following should help.
You’d just need to change those values.
4 – Navigate to Appearance > Theme Settings. Under the General tab, disable “Display Post Author”.
5 – Clicking on Navigate should bring up your full site menu. Is this not working for you?
6 – From the looks of things, you’re using an image for your site title now, which is the solution I was about to suggest.
I hope that answers all your questions. Please let us know if there’s anything else you need.
