SiteOrigin Page Builder Override

11 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 11 years ago

Hi SiteOrigin,

I’d like to override SiteOrigin Page Builder at the HTML level to make a few small adjustments. However, I have read in other threads that you have to pick one or the other.

Is there a way, once you’ve built the page using the Page Builder, to fully export that code and play with it in the standard editor? I have ticked the ‘copy to editor’ option in SiteOrigin settings, but that doesn’t actually copy the whole thing (just what’s in the section tags).

This is only really possible on the developer level. You can filter the content after Page Builder creates it using a few filters, but you can’t edit it in the visual editor itself.

Here’s our general page builder developer guide if you’d like to go that route – https://siteorigin.com/docs/page-builder/

Sorry I don’t have more for you now.
